In spring 2016, Future, Schiller's ninth studio album, was the first global pop album by the artist since the successful 2012 album Sonne.
Future is the perfect title for this innovative masterpiece by Germany's most fascinating electronic musician. It features intoxicating and rousing sounds of timeless intensity. The ideal soundtrack to leave everyday life behind, each song is like a separate film, leading to what the future might hold, after all, ‘the future holds the power for dreams,’ as artist Christopher von Deylen himself says.
Future is the magical evolution of the unique Schiller cosmos. Dreamlike melodies and artful arrangements create an extraordinary sound experience between epic power and breathtaking grace. Once again, a great journey of discovery was undertaken in advance: between the pulsating metropolis of Los Angeles and the seemingly endless expanse of the Mojave Desert, a weightless album was created with gripping instrumental tracks and impressive guest vocalists. Schiller was able to share his musical curiosity with many new voices. They have become a part of the musical expedition of Future with dedication and passion.
All the work has paid off: Future entered the German album charts at number 1, making Schiller a success for the 5th time.
The two main components of the Future Saga are now being released in a new, colourful vinyl design – part 1 comes in a dreamy purple, part 2 in a transparent neon orange, matching the colourful worlds that Schiller is always able to create anew. Each of the two 2LP editions is limited to 1500 copies.
